Your next offense of Mass RDM would be 2 weeks. I've never seen a fourth rdm result in a ban just a regular slay. This is just plain confusing in regards to the regular rules because when is the grace period? When a players ban expires for a mass rdm 3+, it just resets. After the 4th offense of RDM you get banned for Mass RDM (1st Offense) which is 5 days. It isn't accidental or unintentional rdm if the player makes an active decision to not read the rules before playing on the server. Third offense = One day Why? Most of the time it is intentional rdm, or players who do not bother to read the rules and do not understand what rdm is. Make the 3rd offense 3 slays instead of one day. They're mentioned in the rules, and they should be enforced.

I'd like to see these punishments actually enforced, because the 1 rdm = 1 slay 2nd rdm = 1 slay is far too lenient. The only time I've ever seen a player banned for mass rdm or with regards to rdm is if they do it all in one round, or if they consistently try to take out as many players over the course of a map. What usually happens is a player rdm's once, they get one slay, then if they rdm again, its 1 slay. I have never seen these punishments enforced by any staff member since my joining in 2014. 4 offenses and you would be banned for 5 days." Yeah as I said this person was going watching me as I was going to bed."Currently the rules say that after 3 offenses of RDM you would be banned for 1 day. When you are brood, you will see other people with a glowing color around them. This was never an official term but was fan made. You lose sanity and it's just pretty lame and not what the game mode was intended for. Random Deathmatch (abbreviated to 'RDM') is a term used to denote when a player randomly kills other players without valid reasons or when someone is upset that they died, even for a legitimate reason. (go into brood mode (also known as "alien form" or whatever, in the list of weapons). In fact, it's pretty much the same thing, with a sci-fi twist and obviously the fact that you respawn as an alien with another alien kills you (where as in TTT mode, when you die, you're dead till the next round)īasically, you NEVER shoot another human unless you are absolutely sure they are an alien.Įven if you are a brood alien, don't shoot humans while YOU are human. It's very similar to TTT (trouble in terrorist town). Obviously the game mode has a certain theme. I play morbus almost exlusively on gmod right now. However, once another human has completed an objective, they are confirmed as human, as long as you follow them around so they can't get turned into a brood, they are confirmed and can be trusted. The situation was, I walked into the NSDAP offices, the doors open and unlocked, i walked into the building while the offender was there, and he said. What the offender has done: Falsely killed/RDM'ed me inside the NSDAP offices as a member of the NSDAP. The games rules also clearly state that you cannot trust anyone Offenders In-Game Name: Heinrich von Bartmann. You should be able to hear aliens that are fairly close by. After he is done, complete the objective yourself. If he goes for it, watch his back for aliens. If you have enough time, don't complete the objective. So I killed him.Ĭheck the clock for the objective. One of them was watching me when I was going to go to bed. I was playing morbus where aliens can be disguized as people. RDM is an acryonym for "random death match"Īlso known as "team killing" in other games.
